CBD Dosage: How Much Should I Take?
How much CBD is the correct amount?
The short answer is: There is no “Correct” amount. The perfect dose for a person can range from body to body. There are many factors that come into play when considering a “Correct” dose of CBD. However, the good thing is you can test out different dosages with no worries of “overdosing”.
Let’s cover some some situations where your CBD dosage might differ from another persons.
Your body weight it a major factor into how much CBD you should be taking. Generally speaking, heavier people need a larger dosage of CBD and lighter people need a smaller dosage.
The strength of the product you are consuming is a big factor. For instance, let’s say a bottle of CBD tincture has a concentration of 1500 mg and contains 30 milliliters (mL) of tincture, with 1 mL as the standard serving size. This means each 1-mL serving will contain approximately 50 mg of CBD; the consumer is not ingesting 1500 mg with each dosage.
The desired effects you are looking for will change how much CBD you consume. Most people are looking to ease light aches and pains or relieve some anxiety, as others are looking for something to help them get a good nights sleep.
Some people may develop a tolerance to CBD over time with continues usage. This means they need to increase their dosage to obtain the same effects as before. If you feel you are not getting the same effects, try increasing your dose my 10mg at a time.
