Is CBD legal in Tennessee?
CBD products created with industrial hemp and contain no more than 0.9% THC are legal in the state of Tennessee. This is all made in part by a couple of bills that were passed in 2014 and 2016.
The SB 2531, passed in 2014, allowed for CBD oil to be legal for patients with specific medical conditions.
The HB 2144, passed in 2016, was a clarification bill to separate CBD and THC. The bill set the limit of THC within a CBD product to 0.9% THC.
This means when you consume CBD products produced using industrial hemp, you will not have any psychoactive effects.
All of our CBD Hemp flower is produced by East Tennessee Hemp Company and has tested government mandated testing to verify legal THC limits.
